Residents could also no longer build fences or retain walls, and could have less grass lawn in front of their homes.The green zone would cover 15.5 hectares of Mississauga, according to a report that came out of the city's planning staff. The report also said adding the zone to current planning documents would cost about $10 million.Rights to treesThe idea of the urban forest zone has been floated since the early 2000s.It took a more concrete form when during the lead up to the last municipal election, Coun.
